Arjo Atayde recently bid goodbye to his character “Elai” in The General's Daughter. His performance on the show was lauded by the Autism Society of the Philippines. Following his departure from the TV series, the actor recently met Ken Chan, who also played a character with autism named "Boyet" in a show on another network.
Upon meeting, both actors decided to pay tribute to their characters and portray them together.
"We both missed our characters and thought it would be nice to bring them back to life to meet each other. Much freakin respect Ken! 🤘🏼hello from Elai and Boyet! We miss you! THANK YOU," Arjo wrote.
Meanwhile, in his Instagram post, Ken expressed his admiration for Arjo.
Ken wrote, “Isang karangalan ang isabuhay ang kwento ng isang tao na may Autism. Masaya kami ni @arjoatayde at naging bahagi kami kahit papano ng kanilang buhay. Huwag natin kalimutan na ang tanging kailangan nila ay ang pagmamahal. @arjoatayde saludo ako sayo!” .
