Both Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano have received a special gift from their son Luis Manzano over the weekend.
As seen on his latest Instagram post, the I Can See Your Voice host commissioned custom paintings for his parents as his “simple way of telling [them] I love them."
Just a simple way of telling my parents @rosavilmasantosrecto @realedumanzano i love them! Thank you @markrochapadernal for creating these pieces! ANG GALING ❤️ thank you @marianrivera for introducing us 👍🏻 love you momski and daddyo! Thank you how @senorita_jessy for the pic ! :)
Vilma’s painting depicted a touching image of herself as a young mother sharing a candid moment with Luis as a child. On the other hand, Edu’s piece featured a powerful portrait of him and and his son as “The Master and the Apprentice”.
In his caption, Luis thanked Marian Rivera, who had given a similar gift for her husband Dingdong Dantes in early August, for introducing him to the artist, Mark Rocha Padernal.
On Instagram, Edu, who is about to turn another year older this coming September 14, thanked Luis for surprising him with an early birthday gift.
“Seeing that I enjoy art he commissioned a portrait of the two of us. This is one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten in my lifetime!” he added.
For her part, the Star for All Seasons wrote: “Sweet gift from my son… I LOVE YOU, LUCKY!”
