Filipino hit film Kita Kita which starred Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez just got a remake in Indonesia and original director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo happily shared the trailer of the Indonesian adaptation of the film on her Instagram.
The director admitted that she got teary-eyed when she watched the trailer of Citu Intu Buta (Love is Blind).

The plot of the story stays the same with the original film and the only difference was the setting. Kita Kita was filmed in Japan while Citu Intu Buta was shot in Busan, South Korea.
Kita Kita was so successful that it earned P300 million while it was still shown in cinemas. The budget of the movie was P10 million.
