Kuwaresma, the horror film starring Sharon Cuneta and John Arcilla, is set to hold its world premiere in several film festivals this year, including the prestigious Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) in Japan and Oslo International Film Festival (OIFF) in Norway.
I am beyond proud to announce that our movie “Kuwaresma” is now part of the following Film Festivals as of August 31: Slash - Vienna - September 19-29, 2019 ToHorror - Italy - October 8-17, 2019 Nocturna - Madrid - October 22-26, 2019 TIFF - Tokyo - October 29-November 5, 2019 OIFF - Oslo - November 16-27, 2019 BARS - Buenos Aires - November 28-December 8, 2019
The TIFF is scheduled to kick off on October 29 and will continue until November 5, while OIFF will run from November 16 to 27.
The Erik Matti movie will also be shown in /slash film festival – Austria’s leading festival for fantastic films, with genres spanning from horror and science-fiction to fantasy and animation – which will run from September 19 to 29.
Kuwaresma will then premiere consecutively in ToHorror in Italy and Nocturna in Madrid in October. Like /slash, both festivals are dedicated to genres of science fiction, horror, and fantasy films.
The Pinoy flick will end its series of world premiere in Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre (BARS), an international film festival with a similar theme, which is set to kick off on November 28 and will run until December 8.
Produced by Reality Entertainment and Globe Studios, the film’s official synopsis goes: “A family is haunted by what appears to be the ghost of their youngest daughter.”
