Actress Ivana Alawi is the latest victim of an online booking fraud.
The Filipina-Moroccan stunner was recently spotted in a website claiming to offer escort services, prized at a whopping P2.6 million for the rate of one hour and P4.7 million for two hours. According to the site, which has previously victimized other celebrities, most notably GMA-7 artist Jackie Rice, “VIP ladies must be booked 24 hours in advance. We respect our ladies and staff to provide a service that is real, professional, and respectful.”
Peregrino Lansigan Jr. of PPL Entertainment, who currently handles Ivana, was quick to deny the rumors in an Instagram post he shared Sunday, saying, “Do not believe anything you see. Spread LOVE not FAKE NEWS!”
For her part, Ivana only laughed off the news in a Facebook post she upped the previous day, citing that she has her limits despite being a self-confessed “hubadera.”
“There have been several posts going around claiming you can book me for two hours at 4.7 million! Ayos ‘yan mga naiisip niyo i-post ah! May tax pa ba ‘yan at bawas sa booking agency or net na? Ang mahal pala. Haha! Dali lang pala kumita ng 100 million ‘no?"
“Hubadera ako sa social media yes, but I have my limits! I earn my own money the right way."
Ivana last appeared in the drama television series, Sino Ang May Sala?: Mea Culpa as Lolita del Rio.
