Former The Voice PH contestant Alisah Bonaobra however clarified that she has no regrets choosing Apl.De Ap as her coach.
Alisah Bonaobra, a certified kontesera, shared some advice for those who aspire to become a professional singer like her.
Alisah, who has joined several singing competitions in the past including The Voice of the Philippines and X Factor UK, shared that an aspiring performer has to have courage and trust in one’s self.

Siyempre maraming iba’t-ibang singing competitions and ‘yung tatag lang talaga ng loob tsaka yung tiwala sa sarili ang kailangan,” she said in an interview with the press at the VIVA CON 2019.
The new VIVA artist said it was her mom who pushed her to continue reaching for her dreams despite her past losses.
Now signed under VIVA, she shared that she is looking forward to Sarah Geronimo someday.
“Ako po, Sarah G. talaga kasi ako. Ever since bata pa ako, Popster na talaga," Alisah said.
She added that she really wanted to choose Sarah as her coach in The Voice.
Alisah Bonabora, on the other hand, clarified that she has no regrets about choosing Apl.De.Ap over the Popstar Royalty as her coach during her blind audition.
“Hindi. Never. Kasi siyempre kay Coach Apple ako yung reyna 'di ba? Binigyan niya ako ng korona,” she said.
Alisah Bonaobra placed runner-up in the second season of The Voice of the Philippines, losing to Jason Dy.
She went viral in 2014 after singing "Let It Go" from Frozen at a mall in Manila.
