Kim Atienza, Zoren Legaspi, and Gretchen Ho altogether ticked an item off their bucket lists after successfully finishing a 100-mile ride at a cycling event in London on Sunday.
The three stars, who were recently named as official ambassadors of British life insurer Pru Life UK, raised the Philippine flag as they conquered this year's PRURide PH, billed as the biggest cycling festival in the country.
In an Instagram post, "Kuya" Kim, who apart from being a TV host is known as a fitness enthusiast, revealed that it was a life-long dream of his to participate in such a prestigious sports event.
"100 miles of pure beauty in today's #ridelondon2019
Thank you for the privilege dear Lord. This was a dream growing up. Salamat sa oportunidad," he said.
For his part, Zoren also marked a personal milestone as he accomplished the ride, citing, "Finishing Pru Ride London 100 miles was a blast! Thank you Pru Philippines for bring us here in London to carry our flag. Definitely a bucket list done," he said.
Meanwhile, Gretchen couldn't help but turn sentimental in a lengthy post she shared regarding her fulfilling experience at the PRURide PH.
"Success!
Step by step. Little by little. Finished my longest distance & first solo ride: 73km (46mi) in less than 3 hours. Walang semplang, walang aberya at pakiramdam ko kayang kaya ko pa. Next goal naman: 100km!
"Worth it lahat ng training sa Pilipinas! Pati yung pamatay na climbs ng Subic-Bataan! I conquered my fears to get here to this point and that is the greatest triumph of all!"
