She definitely got it from her mama.
Chelsea Crisostomo, the daughter of singer Carol Banawa, continues to charm netizens with her golden voice as she recently joined her mother for an impromptu duet of Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s hit “Senorita”.
Carol, who has been personally attending to her daughter's voice lessons since she was younger, posted the said cover on her Instagram account on Sunday, in which she wrote as caption, "When us girls hang out, we play."
It was in 2017 when the proud mom first showed off her daughter’s singing skills after sharing a clip of Chelsea’s rendition of “How Far I’ll Go”, the theme song from the animated movie, "Moana".
"We’ve been trying to do some vocal lessons at home... Super proud of her. I love you anak!" the singer-turned-nurse wrote as caption.
Currently, Carol and her family reside in Washington D.C., where she finished her degree in nursing as summa cum laude from the Northern Virginia Community College in July last year. As a singer, she gave voice to popular Tagalog songs, including her hits “Iingatan Ka” and “Bakit ‘Di Totohanin”.
