Barely two months after taking home the crown at this year’s Binibining Pilipinas pageant and Gazini Ganados said the details for the Miss Universe pageant where she will be competing is not yet finalized. “Even after winning Miss Universe Binibining Pilipinas, there were a lot of rumors of where the venue will be. But as of now, there is no exact location yet not unless the organization announces it. My strategy will be a secret for now (laughs) for you to look forward to it. I’ll just represent the Philippines authentically in my own ways,” she shared during her Blue Water Day spa presscon held last July 31.

With Miss Universe Catriona Gray recently speaking up about body shaming on social media, Gazini said she supports her fellow beauty queen and how the latter handled her critics online. “Catriona is a strong person and she knows how to get back up after every struggle. And I am pretty sure she’ll be fine. I already took time to message her so 104 million Filipinos will be there to lift her up where she deserves to be. I guess it’s just a matter of faith and trust and knowing your worth. Kasi even before joining Binibining Pilipinas, we already had our own critics. In fact even ourselves were our own critic but at the end of the day it’s our sole happiness that matters,” she shared.

The newest Blue Water Day spa health and wellness advocate also shared some advice for those who have to deal with high standards of beauty and bullying. “There has been this body positivity movement all around the world already so I guess we have to start thinking that, for the bullies they might have their experiences of why they became bullies. They might have their experiences that they encountered when they were a kid so I totally understand why they are being dominant and condescending to one another. But hopefully they’ll realize that it will not get them anywhere else in this world. So basically let’s all just love one another and make peace so that everyone can live harmoniously,” she said.
