Though Edward Barber is already courting her, Maymay Entrata said that she is not ready yet to commit to a relationship at the moment. In an interview at the media conference of their “M.E. and U” concert, Maymay said, “Hindi pa po sa ngayon, siguro mas ano po talaga ako mas focus ako sa pamilya ko muna pero nandiyan naman po si Dodong eh. Naging bahagi na siya sa buhay ko, ayaw ko na rin siya mawala, half doon na may freedom din siya kung ano ang gusto niyang gawin.”She added, “Hangga't maaari kapag okay na po lahat. ’Pag feeling ko ito na ’yung tamang panahon. Tsaka sasabihin naman namin.”Meanwhile, Edward remarked that he doesn’t want to rush things as well with Maymay. “I am taking my time with everything I do whether with Maymay or work so ayaw ko talagang mag-rush and ayaw ko na may pressure,” the actor said.When asked if Maymay is “girlfriend” material, Edward replied, “She's very girlfriend material and to the point na I don’t wanna see her as the girlfriend of another.”
