Pinay singer Maria Laroco proud to be mentored by Simon Cowell in X-Factor UK

Naging finalist ng The X-Factor UK 2018 ang Pinay singer na si Maria Laroco. Umabot siya hanggang top 6 at napabilang sa team ni Simon Cowell.Yon nga lang, hindi pinalad na manalo ni Maria. Pero magkaganun man, ayon mismo sa kanya, itinuturing na niyang malaking achievement ang kanyang narating sa sinalihang internatonal singing competition.Proud din siya na during the competition ay naging mentor pa niya ang sikat na celebrity judge, talent manager and producer.Ani Maria, “Kasi talagang napakalaking tao po niya, siyempre. He is the Simon Cowell. He played a big role po sa buhay ko. And meeting him taught me a lot of things po na, ‘Wow, I am a lucky girl to be mentored by one of the best in the industry.’ Kaya talagang super thankful po ako that I got to be one of his Top 6 po during The X-Factor UK 2018.”Hindi rin daw malilimutan ni Maria ang best advice sa kanya ni Simon.“He always advises us, kaming mga girls, to be who we are and not to be anybody else. We just have to be ourselves and to be strong no matter what challenges he gives us because it’s his way of helping us grow and to be our best every time,” sambit pa niya.Sinabihan din daw siya ni Simon na bumalik at mag-audition ulit sa susunod na X-Factor UK.Bago sumali ng X-Factor UK ay naging part na rin siya ng The Voice Kids season 1 at napasama sa team ni Coach Lea Salonga.Nakapag-record na rin siya sa Universal Records para sa local version niya ng kantang “Beauty and The Beast.” She also represented the Philippines in the Child Aid Asia concert na ginanap sa Tokyo, Japan at naging grand champion ng Great British Festival.Ngayon ay nasa Pilipinas si Maria to promote her international album titled Just Maria from Odic Records na isang American record label. Ten tracks ang nakapaloob sa album with the carrier single na may title na “Imagine.” Ang iba pang mga kanta sa album ay “Bad Luv,” “Eager,” “On My Way,” “I Like It,” “Bae,” “Delay,” “Vault,” “Outerspace” at “Can’t Stop.”“I am so thankful and grateful to God kasi finally natupad na po yung isa po sa mga ipinagdarasal ko po.
