Fresh off the success of ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’, Alden Richards took to social media to share an old video of him learning bartending skills as part of the requisites of his role as Ethan.
“What drink can I get you?”
This was the question of Alden Richards to his fans and followers as he looked back on his character in the blockbuster film, Hello, Love, Goodbye, Thursday.
Fresh off the success of the movie, the GMA-7 actor took to social media to share an old video of him learning basic bartending skills as part of the requisites of his role as Ethan.
Previously, Alden revealed that he was required by director Cathy Garcia-Molina to attend bartending lessons so as to truthfully portray his role as a bartender.
"Ni-require po ako kasi kailangan na magmukha po akong sanay na sanay sa gingawa ko," he said.
"Isa po sa mga natutunan ko kay direk Cathy para mabigyan mo ng hustisya ang role na ginagawa mo, wag mo siyang i-acting kasi mahahalata at mahahalata ng audience 'yan e. Kailangan isabuhay mo siya," he added.
As of Friday, August 16. Hello, Love, Goodbye has so far raked in a whopping $2,132,000 from international screenings, according to a tally from producer Star Cinema.
That’s not including the film’s domestic gross, which is reported to have earned over P600 million since it opened to cinemas last July 31.
