‘Mina-Anud’ actress Dionne Monsanto talks about working for the first time with Dennis Trillo.
After being cast in the role of Dennis Trillo’s wife in the film Mina-Anud, Dionne Monsanto said she enjoyed the experience after shooting on location in Borongan, Samar. “It was my first time to work with Dennis and I loved working with him kasi he’s very focused and he’s actually very quiet. But when we do our scenes together parang mag-asawa talaga kami. And I really, really appreciate that because he gives me the right energy when we do our scenes. I play Dennis Trillo’s wife and parang ako yung isa sa rason kung bakit he wanted to make more money,” she told PUSH.
After shooting the film with Cebuano director Kerwin Go, Dionne said she went back to the set of her new film which she is also producing for the very first time. “I just got back from Davao from filming the project for QCinema naman. Baka by September yun. Oh my God parang ayoko na umalis from Davao kasi everyone in the team is from Davao so everyone is Bisaya and only one actor from Manila. So I felt so at home. It’s also a very different experience when you are producing because you’re more mindful of everything. Kasi if you’re acting lang, you’re only thinking of your role and in this one, I had to think of logistics and the business side of it. So it was more tasking but then way more fulfilling,” she shared.
Currently in Europe for a one-month vacation with Switzerland-based boyfriend Ryan Stalder, Dionne said the really planned the vacation in between promoting her projects this year. “We are going to Italy and then Germany and then ikot ikot because our good friends Mickey and Gee-ann Perz will be there also. I’ve been to Spain and France na before but it’s my first time in Switzerland so I’m so excited,” she said.
