Anne Curtis ‘ready’ to be a mom

Actress and TV host Anne Curtis is now ready to become a mother.

In her interview on morning talk show 'Magandang Buhay' on Monday, the 'It's Showtime' host admitted that she's already at that point in her life where she's ready to start a family of her own with her vlogger and restaurateur-husband, Erwan Heussaff.

"Feeling ko in God's time, it will happen. Ayaw kong magbigay ng pressure sa sarili ko or kay Erwan kung kailan mangyayari 'yon. Who knows baka next year na 'yan, di ba? It could be this year, next year, we don't know," she said.

"But let's just say I think I'm at that age naman na talaga na anytime that it happens ay ready na akong maging momshie," she added.

For the meantime, Anne is looking forward to welcoming an additional member to their family as her long-time friend and sister-in-law Solenn Heussaff expects her first child with Argentinian model-husband Nico Bolzico.

"Of course, I'm excited to be an aunt. Magiging tita ako so I'm very excited for Nico and Solenn. And si Erwan also sobrang excited din kasi siyempe may added family, hindi ba, and may baby. So nakakatuwa bagong blessing," said Anne, who revealed that she was among the few people to know of the pregnancy prior to the couple's big announcement.

"Ang hirap mag-keep ng secret. ... Shocked and then I was just so happy for them, extremely happy for them. Sabay kaming sinabihan ni Erwan. So sobra kaming happy para sa kanila because we know it was one of the things they were looking forward to, hinihintay nila. So happy kami para sa kanila," she added.

Anne was on 'Magandang Buhay' to promote 'Just A Stranger', her upcoming film with Marco Gumabao and Edu Manzano, scheduled to hit cinemas this August 21.
