Joshua Garcia appeared cool and collected at the presscon for his latest teleserye The Killer Bride. After some four or over five weeks after his much-publicized separation from his famous reel and real life leading lady Julia Barretto, no one can ever really guess whether or not the brilliant actor had undergone an emotional storm.
While people have been reacting to the issue and Julia’s subsequent reported role in the Bea Alonzo-Gerald Anderson breakup, Joshua wisely has no replies to all those posts. Instead at The Killer Bride presscon, he was firm and answered “Ay ako po ay okay na okay naman po,” without any trace of hesitancy. “Masaya lang po ako ngayon.”
Apparently he has moved on to focus on work instead. “Kumbaga haharapin mo iyung araw na…kasi passionate ako sa trabaho …lalo na recently, malayo ang isip ko, nasa trabaho”.
Detouring from his personal life now, the ever approachable actor explained how he likens his character in The Killer Bride to the layers of his personality. “Si Elias po kase protective na tao eh kay Vito, na amo niya. Malaki kase ang pagdududa niya sa pagkatao ni Emma (Janella Salvador), nung duamting siya sa buhay nina Vito,” he said, pointing out how protective his character is as he is protective of his personal life now.
