Pepe and Pilar, the twins of Korina Sanchez and Mar Roxas, have been baptized.

On Instagram this Thursday, the news anchor shared photos from the "quiet and simple" event with only their immediate families in attendance.

She wrote, "Good morning pipol! Sa wakas! The twins’ baptism! Took awhile although they were blessed three times prior. Tuwang tuwa kami. But mas tuwang tuwa si Pepe en Pilar. They loooooved being outdoors. Himala. No crying AT ALL. Kahit mainit sa simbahan! And even when they were blessed with water over their heads and Pepe was asleep. No incident."

"The kids love people. They super like being around a lot of new faces. So proud of  them. Two new angels on earth."

According to Korina, she and Mar opted to choose the guardians from the younger generation of their families.

"So here are most of the nephews and nieces from both sides... Ayan si Pappi [Mar]. Sobrang saya and sobrang proud ... sa mga anak niya!"

Prior to their baptism in the Philippines, Korina had a blessing of her twins in Pittsburgh last March.

The Rated K host and the former interior and local government secretary welcomed their first children, Pepe and Pilar, in late of February. The twins were born via gestational surrogacy in the United States.

While Korina is a first-time mom, Mar has a 25-year-old son Paolo from a previous relationship.
