After winning Binibining Pilipinas Universe last June, Gazini Ganados admitted she is still adjusting to the role of being the country’s bet to the Miss Universe pageant this year. “-At first we had a lot of media interviews and I’m still overwhelmed. It’s a good kind of problem and the more projects, the more happy I am to get to offer myself to those people who trust me and Binibining Pilipinas and the Miss Universe organization,” she shared during her launch as the newest advocate for beauty and wellness of Blue Water Day Spa held last July 31 in Pasig city.

The 23-year-old Cebuana beauty queen said she cannot hog all the credit for her win. Gazini said she had a hardworking team supporting her all the way. “I’m happy to share this moment with all of you. From dreaming big to working hard and to winning the crown, things didn’t come to me in a snap of a finger. I worked hard for it, the effort of staying fit and to be healthy and to be more confident in my own ways. Also learning to express myself well in public. I would not have been able to do this on my own. As they say, every successful woman has an army collaborating their best, doing and innovating in order to achieve their goals. To all my family, friends, and mentors, and supporters and to all of you who rooted for me, thank you so much,” she said.

After Catriona Gray took home the Miss Universe crown last year, all eyes are on this year’s candidate for a back-to-back win. But Grazini said she is not affected by everybody’s expectations. “Any pressure is okay because I transform them into motivational things. Every morning I give myself five minutes to think about what’s going to happen for the next few days. I do some yoga practice and of course meditation is very important to have that rejuvenating self inside of you. But at the end of the day, when you’re feeling tired, I would go to Blue Water Day spa. Sometimes I would go three times a week (laughs). I love sauna and foot massage. Self-care is not only pampering yourself but it’s also feeding your soul happy thoughts and meditation is also important to know your values and your core. Given that my schedule is getting more hectic as I prepare for the upcoming competition, because I am into replenishing and rejuvenating and also yoga which is relaxing my mind and my body. Blue Water Day Spa really helps me get well not only in my body but also my mind and my soul,” she explained.
