Lyca Gairanod said she will practice putting on makeup and do more tutorial videos in the future.
Lyca Gairanod has come a long way from being the little kid who captured the hearts of many in the first-ever season of The Voice Kids to a blooming teen singer who wowed the online world with her major glow-up.
Now an incoming senior high student, Lyca shared how she juggles her career as an artist and her life as a student.
“Hindi naman po mahirap ipagsabay po ang pag-aaral and work kasi kung wala po akong sched, pumapasok po ako. Pero ‘pag meron, nagbibigay naman po ako ng excuse letter,” she said.
With the fourth season of The Voice Kids almost nearing, Lyca Gairanod shared her advice to those who will be part of the competition.
“Ma-aadvice po ko po sa kanila: Sundin lang po nila kung ano po ‘yung pangarap nila. And pray lang po sila and be positive. ‘Yun lang po,” she said.
On Twitter, several netizens started calling her ‘queen’ for her viral makeup videos and other memes. And according to the 14-year-old singer, she feels happy about all the positive responses - especially when it took the internet by storm last year.
“Siyempre po nakakatuwa kasi po ‘di ko rin inexpect na mangyayari po ‘yun ganun,” she said.

Meanwhile, Lyca Gairanod also said she’s willing to do more makeup tutorial videos in the future, but admitted that she has to practice more before she releases a new one.
“Yes po. But magpapractice po muna ako,” she noted
Now back to vlogging, Lyca said her fans can expect more content from her in the future.
“Siguro po abangan na lang po nila ‘yung mga susunod ko pong mga vlogs. At siguro po ‘yung mga funny moments, more shows,” she said.
On the other hand, Lyca confirmed that she will be releasing new music soon but said she can’t disclose yet when it will come out.
“Yes po. Hindi ko lang po alam kung kailan po,” she stated.
Asked if she still bonds with her former fellow contestants from The Voice Kids, she replied, “Hindi na po. Magkakakaiba na po kami ng sched kaya minsan na lang din po kami magkita or magsama.”
A member of Team Sarah, Lyca Gairanod was the grand champion in the first-ever season of The Voice Kids.
Darren Espanto and Juan Karlos Labajo placed 1st and 2nd runners-up in the competition, respectively.
