'Asia's Next Top Model' winner Maureen Wroblewitz put to test her Filipino-speaking skills as she answered fan queries in Tagalog in a vlog entry she shared on Saturday.
Maureen Wroblewitz put a fun yet challenging twist to her first-ever Q&A session by answering fan queries in Tagalog.
The 21-year-old model, whose previous television and online appearances show she speaks in fluent English, put to test her Filipino-speaking skills in a vlog entry on Saturday where she revealed that she has been taking Tagalog lessons since last September.
"This is my first time posting a video of me speaking Tagalog. Please don’t go hard on me, I’m still learning the language and trying to remove my accent. I’ve only started Tagalog classes last year as I’ve said in the video and I’ve still got a long way to go but I’m super proud of myself," she said.
"Every time I speak another language it’s like I become a different person, it’s so weird," added the young stunner, who launched her beauty-themed vlog channel back in August.
Born to a Filipino mother and a German father, Maureen rose to fame in 2017 as the first Filipina to win the fifth season of popular reality TV show, Asia's Next Top Model. She has since engaged in several projects, including TV guestings and a much-talked about appearance in the music video of "Buwan" by singer JK Labajo, to which she has been romantically linked since last year.
Last April, Maureen teased her fans of a future project by signing with film studio, Reality Entertainment.
