Angelica Panganiban put her foot down on the possible reconciliation with former boyfriend Carlo Aquino as she reiterated her intent to distance herself from him on Sunday.
“Sorry. Spare me. Si Khang at si Josh lang ang tinuturing kong pamilya,” tweeted the Banana Sundae star in response to a CarGel fan who referred to her and Carlo, along with their two mutual friends, as a “family”.
“Gusto kong maging mabuting tao. Pero ayokong maging bobo,” she added.

The tweet comes just a month after Angelica stated that she has cut all ties with Carlo following their controversial falling out this year.
“Hindi siya nag-e-exist sa life ko ngayon,” said the actress in a previous interview. “Hindi kami nag-uusap so wala akong alam sa nangyayari sa kanya.”
Prior to this, she categorically stated that she is no longer friends with the actor, citing that they haven’t been on speaking terms for a while now, contrary to Carlo’s earlier claim.
“Matagal na rin. Basta matagal na rin [kaming nawalan ng communication],” she said.
It was in 2018 when Angelica and Carlo stirred speculations of a rekindled romance after they co-starred in the romantic film Exes Baggage.
Due to the success of their onscreen reunion, Carlo joined the cast of Playhouse where he starred as the love interest of Angelica’s character Patty.
However, in early January, Angelica shocked the public after declaring that she would distance herself from Carlo, saying the “negativity” of the followers had affected their relationship.
At the time, speculations circulated that Carlo was dating another woman as snapshots of him on vacation with model Trina Candaza surfaced online.
