Joshua Garcia shocked some fans when actress Julia Barretto posted a part of their conversation where he comforted her and said that she is one of the strongest girl that he knows.
The Killer Bride star then explained on TV Patrol that there is no malice in comforting Julia since she is his friend.
"Kaibigan ko siya eh, hindi naman siguro masama na ibigay ko 'yung suporta ko sa kaniya, kumbaga kalimutan muna natin 'yung problema, andito ako bilang kaibigan mo hindi para kung ano man," he said.
Last July 21, Bea Alonzo’s Instagram post sparked rumors that her relationship with Gerald Anderson was already on the rocks and other netizens accused Julia as the reason for their breakup. Julia and Gerald worked together ON the film Between Maybes.
Joshua’s The Killer Bride co-star Maja Salvador, who was also Gerald’s ex-girlfriend, opted not to comment on the issue.
"Ayoko nang sumali. Masaya ako. Ayoko sumali, ayokong sumagot. Kung puwede lang, wala na ako diyan,"Maja said.
In a previous interview, Bea gave an honest reply to the press and said they haven’t had a formal breakup and Gerald just starting not talking to her.
After her revelation, the word ‘ghosting’ which described what Gerald did, trended online with actor Paulo Avelino joining in.
Actresses Angel Locsin and Loisa Andalio also reacted to Paulo’s tweet.
Until now, Gerald and Julia have not yet clarified their side of the issue.
