Yassi Pressman shares details about her new movie and new business in Siargao

Following in the footsteps of other Pinays who recently starred in full-action movies like Anne Curtis (Buy Bust) and Erich Gonzales (We Will Not Die Tonight), Yassi Pressman said she is looking forward to the start of production for her film Born Ready which was announced last year.“Ngayon meron akong binabasa na isang pelikula but also we’re training and we’re meeting this week sa mga producers ng Born Ready movie na meron kaming ginawang trailer a year ago. Kaya lang they’re all foreign so para po mag-shoot dito kailangan lock-in kami sa Tondo ng araw-araw. Eh habang nag-te-taping pa kami (ng Ang Probinsyano) hindi pa nahanapan ng schedule. Hopefully this year,” she shared during the Greenwich Lasagna Game Day event held last July 25 in Pasig City.With her hectic taping schedule for <a href='https://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/angprobinsyano/main'>Ang Probinsyano</a>, Yassi said there is never a shortage of action in the top rated primetime series.“Na-e-enjoy ko naman siya. Ngayon merong mga bagong pumasok. Marami kaming mga bagong cast at umiikot pa din naman ang kuwento so sana abangan ninyo. May pinagseselosan na ngayon si Alyanna, si Major Romero. Sana ma-enjoy niyo yun. Nakakatuwa yung mga reactions ng mga tao nung nakikita namin na engaged pa rin sila at lalo kaming na-i-inspire na gumawa ng kuwento,” she shared.Aside from being a good actress and dancer, Yassi says she has not forgotten her singing career and is happy release a single this week.“Tungkol sa isang love song na sobrang cheesy lang. Cute cute lang siya. Sana abangan niyo it’s called ‘Sige Na Please.’ Sinulat namin ni Keiko Necesario isang araw, ten minutes. Isang araw ni-record namin sa Baguio at ito na siya ngayon. Sana magustuhan niyo,” she added.After a recent visit to Siargao, Yassi said she is excited to be part of a new resto business on the island. “Going there was very inspiring. Masaya kasi nakita namin yung mga tao at yun yung importante para sa akin kaya ako bumisita. Isang araw lang ako dun eh pero gusto kong maramdaman yung warmth ng mga locals, kung okay ba yung mga locals sa mangyayari kasi ayaw naman natin na merong matatapakan na mga tao. I was invited by my partners already here in Manila na i-check yung project nila sa Siargao,” she said.
