EXCLUSIVE: What’s next for Bela Padilla after ‘Sino Ang May Sala?’

Bela Padilla has just wrapped up filming on her new movie with JC Santos. The movie is set to hit the big screens sometime next year.

“For next year. Kakatapos lang din namin mag-shoot,” she stated.

With several fans expecting to see the film at the Pista Ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP), Bela explained why it didn't make to the film festival.

“Oo nga eh. Unfortunately, it wasn’t fit for PPP this year talaga. So it’s for something else,” she said.

Apart from her upcoming film with Santos, Bela revealed she has another one in the works for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this 2019.

“Yes, I have a movie for MMFF this year. So abangan niyo na lang po ‘pag ina-nnounce na,” she said.

Could it be her new film with Paul Soriano called MAÑANITA? Well, only time can tell.

With all the projects on her plate right now, Bela could only do so much to think of other ways to keep her busy.

“Honestly, ‘pag nag-soap ka, that’s all that can keep you busy. But like I said, I just finished shooting two movies,” she said.

That said, the Kapamilya star said she hopes to take a European vacation if time permits her.

“I’m planning to go back to Europe this year. So I’ll see muna ‘pag baka bigla akong nagka-movie na naman,” she said.

Meanwhile, Bela teased what fans can expect from Sino Ang May Sala? (Mea Culpa) now that they’re down to their last three weeks.

“Well, since it’s our last three weeks, siyempre lahat ng revelations. Of course, we need to watch out kung kanino mapupunta si Leyna — kung sa akin ba or kay Jodi. So ang daming mangyayari. Of course, sa Tropang Malakas — sa buong barkada — like kung sa’n sa’an din kami pumupunta,” she said.

Sino Ang May Sala airs weeknights on Primetime Bida.
