As part of the cast of the newly re-released local film Pan de Salawal, Anna Luna said she was happy to get the chance to work with her former drama teacher Bodjie Pascua who stars in the film. “First project ko is Hunchback of Notre Dame. 15 years old ako nun tapos si Bodjie Pascua yung nag recommend sa akin to enter theater. Kinakabahan tuloy ako pag magkamali (laughs),” she recalled during the Pan de Salawal presscon held in Quezon City.
Aside from Pan de Salawal, Anna’s first full-length film project was also with her former teacher and Batibot star which they shot almost a decade ago. They are both also part of the cast of Judy Ann Santos’s upcoming new series Starla.
After being part of Cinemalaya last year, Anna hopes that Pan de Salawal’s commercial run can reach a wider audience. Hikain ako dito and yung nanay ko is na-stroke tapos dumating si Aguy (played by child star Miel Espinoza) para pagalingin kami. Nakakatuwa siya,” she said.
