Former "Pinoy Big Brother" celebrity housemate Jinri Park is engaged.
The 31-year-old actress shared the exciting news in a vlog entry she uploaded Monday, where she introduced her boyfriend-turned-fiance to the public for the first time.
"I'm engaged!," exclaimed Jinri as she showed off her unique engagement ring. Instead of diamonds, her non-showbiz beau, John, opted for sapphire. "Beautiful ring, see? It's so nice and unique."
The lucky man, John, is a Filipino who grew up in Australia. She and the South Korean model met through mutual friends and instantly clicked.
"She had a very good aura about her, which is what I liked, which is how we connected," said John when asked about his first impression of Jinri.
He said he knew he liked Jinri when he took her to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and had a good talk.
"I live in Sydney and I took her to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and to the Opera House. I knew I was attracted to her when we were just talking on a park bench, just normal talk. I just wanted to get to know her. Once I talked to her, I knew we had similarities and we get along well," he added.
