‘Los Bastardos’ actor Marco Gumabao says he is also a hands-on entrepreneur.
Apart from working on the series Los Bastardos, Marco Gumabao said he is also busy focusing on his businesses, a restaurant called Tipsy Pig in Quezon city, which he co-owns with fellow actor Pat Sugui and their other business partners. “I have a few businesses rin. May iba-iba naman akong business pero now mas hands-on ako sa Tipsy Pig. Marami pa kaming mag-pa-partner nila Pat dito. Yung first food venture namin, yun yung medyo it didn’t do well kaya we had to close it down so now I’m focusing more on Tipsy Pig,” he shared during the iFlix X Viva launch held last July 10.
Marco admitted he is proud of his latest business venture which he wants to make sure is always well maintained. “We opened in January. I’m very hands on. I’m there siguro mga thrice a week. Actually it wasn’t that hard kasi Tipsy Pig naman it built a reputation or a name for itself so it’s not hard to invite people to come over. And we have good food and drinks, cheap food and cheap drinks. Sa Tipsy Pig we have our financing officers pero siyempre as much as possible I want to be hands on sa work or businesses that I touch and actually in any endeavor naman na gusto ko, gusto ko talaga hands on ako.,” he explained.
Unlike in previous years, the 24-year-old actor said he does not go out to party regularly. “Actually not that much. Hindi na compared to before like last year or mga two years ago hindi na masyado. Pero halos every week nakakasama ko sila Pat. Si DJ (Padilla) usually pag mga bahay bahay pero hindi na rin masyado kasi busy na rin siya eh. Pero sila Pat mas madalas ko kasama kasi business partner ko rin siya,” he shared
