Korina Sanchez’s online followers couldn’t help but be touched by the sweet story she shared of her longtime nanny Nanay Fe, who is now 72 years old, finally meeting her twins Pepe and Pilar.

Nanay Fe has been with Korina’s family ever since she went to Manila to work. The Rated K host shared that Nanay Fe took care of her since she was four.

Korina first asked her if she wanted to go to her hometown Leyte to celebrate her birthday, but the latter told her, “Wag na, dito na ang lugar ko.” Nanay Fe’s “devoted sister” Elsie and niece flew in to visit her instead.

“Elsie’s grey hairs I finally also see. We all have grey hairs. Imagine. She took care of me when I was only four years old. She never thought she would see the day I had my own kids,” she shared.

“Makuwento si Fe. But she has become weak. I intend to get her stronger. We have many stories to tell each other looking back. Sabi niya, ‘Si Pilar kamukha ng mata ng Mommy mo, si Pepe Monching na Monching (my Dad). Naabutan ko din kayo...’” she added.

She actually started wiping off my snot when I was only 4. 😝 That makes her our Nanay for 50 years. A HUGE celebration is in order, don’t you think? It’s the birthday of Nanay Fe! I was maybe 7 or 8 years old when Fe first joined our household. My vivid recollection of her was when I cut my finger from a metal folding chair trying to reach for something high in the kitchen. She comforted me throughout my wailing. Many other memories. She has ALWAYS been the source of comfort for me and my brothers who she raised from birth. My Mom and Dad were working parents. Nanay Fe became the surrogate. A Cebuana whose first job in Manila as a young lady was an all around househelp and yaya. Hindi na nag asawa o nag anak. She certainly earned her Nanay status with the Sanchez Family. She was also the loyalist to both my parents who she cared for till they both passed away in 2004. Shes been frail of recent. We Thank God she recovered and is still with us. Her sisters came with family from Cebu to celebrate. We love her, Nanay Fe. Irreplaceable. They hardly ever come like her anymore. Happy Birthday!💚💚💚

I asked Nanay Fe if she wanted a trip back to her hometown Leyte for her birthday. She paused and said, “Wag na, dito na ang lugar ko”. Couldn’t debate. So her devoted sister Elsie and niece flew in to visit her. Elsie’s grey hairs I finally also see. We all have grey hairs. Imagine. She took care of me when I was only 4 years old. She never thought she would see the day I had my own kids. Makwento si Fe. But she has become weak. I intend to get her stronger. We have many stories to tell each other looking back. Sabi nya, “Si Pilar kamukha ng mata ng Mommy mo, si Pepe Monching na Monching (my Dad). Naabutan ko din kayo...”. 💚 Blessed. 🙏

It’s the birthday of Nanay Fe! I was maybe 7 or 8 years old when Fe first joined our household. My vivid recollection of her was when I cut my finger from a metal folding chair trying to reach for something high in the kitchen. She comforted me throughout my wailing. Many other memories. She has ALWAYS been the source of comfort for me and my brothers who she raised from birth. My Mom and Dad were working parents. Nanay Fe became the surrogate. A Cebuana whose first job in Manila as a young lady was an all around househelp and yaya. Hindi na nag asawa o nag anak. She certainly earned her Nanay status with the Sanchez Family. She was also the loyalist to both my parents who she cared for till they both passed away in 2004. Shes been frail of recent. We Thank God she recovered and is still with us. Her sisters came with family from Cebu to celebrate. We love her, Nanay Fe. Irreplaceable. They hardly ever come like her anymore. Happy Birthday!💚💚💚

It’s the birthday of Nanay Fe! I was maybe 7 or 8 years old when Fe first joined our household. My vivid recollection of her was when I cut my finger from a metal folding chair trying to reach for something high in the kitchen. She comforted me throughout my wailing. Many other memories. She has ALWAYS been the source of comfort for me and my brothers who she raised from birth. My Mom and Dad were working parents. Nanay Fe became the surrogate. A Cebuana whose first job in Manila as a young lady was an all around househelp and yaya. Hindi na nag asawa o nag anak. She certainly earned her Nanay status with the Sanchez Family. She was also the loyalist to both my parents who she cared for till they both passed away in 2004. Shes been frail of recent. We Thank God she recovered and is still with us. Her sisters came with family from Cebu to celebrate. We love her, Nanay Fe. Irreplaceable. They hardly ever come like her anymore. Happy Birthday!💚💚💚

Nanay Fe has been with Korina’s family ever since she went to Manila to work. The Rated K host shared that Nanay Fe took care of her since she was four.

I asked Nanay Fe if she wanted a trip back to her hometown Leyte for her birthday. She paused and said, “Wag na, dito na ang lugar ko”. Couldn’t debate. So her devoted sister Elsie and niece flew in to visit her. Elsie’s grey hairs I finally also see. We all have grey hairs. Imagine. She took care of me when I was only 4 years old. She never thought she would see the day I had my own kids. Makwento si Fe. But she has become weak. I intend to get her stronger. We have many stories to tell each other looking back. Sabi nya, “Si Pilar kamukha ng mata ng Mommy mo, si Pepe Monching na Monching (my Dad). Naabutan ko din kayo...”. 💚 Blessed. 🙏

I asked Nanay Fe if she wanted a trip back to her hometown Leyte for her birthday. She paused and said, “Wag na, dito na ang lugar ko”. Couldn’t debate. So her devoted sister Elsie and niece flew in to visit her. Elsie’s grey hairs I finally also see. We all have grey hairs. Imagine. She took care of me when I was only 4 years old. She never thought she would see the day I had my own kids. Makwento si Fe. But she has become weak. I intend to get her stronger. We have many stories to tell each other looking back. Sabi nya, “Si Pilar kamukha ng mata ng Mommy mo, si Pepe Monching na Monching (my Dad). Naabutan ko din kayo...”. 💚 Blessed. 🙏

It’s the birthday of Nanay Fe! I was maybe 7 or 8 years old when Fe first joined our household. My vivid recollection of her was when I cut my finger from a metal folding chair trying to reach for something high in the kitchen. She comforted me throughout my wailing. Many other memories. She has ALWAYS been the source of comfort for me and my brothers who she raised from birth. My Mom and Dad were working parents. Nanay Fe became the surrogate. A Cebuana whose first job in Manila as a young lady was an all around househelp and yaya. Hindi na nag asawa o nag anak. She certainly earned her Nanay status with the Sanchez Family. She was also the loyalist to both my parents who she cared for till they both passed away in 2004. Shes been frail of recent. We Thank God she recovered and is still with us. Her sisters came with family from Cebu to celebrate. We love her, Nanay Fe. Irreplaceable. They hardly ever come like her anymore. Happy Birthday!💚💚💚

I asked Nanay Fe if she wanted a trip back to her hometown Leyte for her birthday. She paused and said, “Wag na, dito na ang lugar ko”. Couldn’t debate. So her devoted sister Elsie and niece flew in to visit her. Elsie’s grey hairs I finally also see. We all have grey hairs. Imagine. She took care of me when I was only 4 years old. She never thought she would see the day I had my own kids. Makwento si Fe. But she has become weak. I intend to get her stronger. We have many stories to tell each other looking back. Sabi nya, “Si Pilar kamukha ng mata ng Mommy mo, si Pepe Monching na Monching (my Dad). Naabutan ko din kayo...”. 💚 Blessed. 🙏

It’s the birthday of Nanay Fe! I was maybe 7 or 8 years old when Fe first joined our household. My vivid recollection of her was when I cut my finger from a metal folding chair trying to reach for something high in the kitchen. She comforted me throughout my wailing. Many other memories. She has ALWAYS been the source of comfort for me and my brothers who she raised from birth. My Mom and Dad were working parents. Nanay Fe became the surrogate. A Cebuana whose first job in Manila as a young lady was an all around househelp and yaya. Hindi na nag asawa o nag anak. She certainly earned her Nanay status with the Sanchez Family. She was also the loyalist to both my parents who she cared for till they both passed away in 2004. Shes been frail of recent. We Thank God she recovered and is still with us. Her sisters came with family from Cebu to celebrate. We love her, Nanay Fe. Irreplaceable. They hardly ever come like her anymore. Happy Birthday!💚💚💚

It’s the birthday of Nanay Fe! I was maybe 7 or 8 years old when Fe first joined our household. My vivid recollection of her was when I cut my finger from a metal folding chair trying to reach for something high in the kitchen. She comforted me throughout my wailing. Many other memories. She has ALWAYS been the source of comfort for me and my brothers who she raised from birth. My Mom and Dad were working parents. Nanay Fe became the surrogate. A Cebuana whose first job in Manila as a young lady was an all around househelp and yaya. Hindi na nag asawa o nag anak. She certainly earned her Nanay status with the Sanchez Family. She was also the loyalist to both my parents who she cared for till they both passed away in 2004. Shes been frail of recent. We Thank God she recovered and is still with us. Her sisters came with family from Cebu to celebrate. We love her, Nanay Fe. Irreplaceable. They hardly ever come like her anymore. Happy Birthday!💚💚💚

Nanay Fe has been with Korina’s family ever since she went to Manila to work. The Rated K host shared that Nanay Fe took care of her since she was four.

I asked Nanay Fe if she wanted a trip back to her hometown Leyte for her birthday. She paused and said, “Wag na, dito na ang lugar ko”. Couldn’t debate.
