Kendra Kramer, the firstborn child of celebrity couple Chesca Garcia and Doug Kramer, was triumphant in her first swimming competition at the Bert Lozada Swim School on Saturday, June 1.

As seen in a post uploaded by her proud mother on Instagram this weekend, the nine-year-old daughter took home a total of three medals from the competition, two of which are gold. There to show moral support for Kendra as she took on the race were her parents and younger siblings Scarlett and Gavin.

“Congratulations Ate Kenken on you first competitive plunge! I am so proud of you Kenny!,” wrote Chesca in a caption.

“I am so happy to know that, you're even more inspired to train harder and improve on your time and form,” she continued. “Keep it up! I'll always be here to support, and cheer for you. No matter what the outcome may be, I will always be your number one fan. I love you so much my daughter.”

Likewise, Doug, a basketball player for the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters, took to his page to express just how proud he is of Kendra.

“Kendra learned so much today! She got 2 gold medals out of 6 events. Experience was a big teacher today because she went against really good swimmers but she stood her own! Learning from her mistakes in the first few heats to getting comfortable competing and trying to get the best time,” he wrote.

“Papa and mama will always be here to support you! Proud parents! Sky is the limit for you baby girl,” he added.

In late of May, Doug had teased a video of her daughter during one of her trainings as she prepared for her first competitive swim, which involved a sum of five events for five different swimming strokes. In a caption, the doting father said that he was in awe of Kendra’s remarkable improvement at swimming in just a short span of time.

Kendra is turning 10 in about a month. Yup, 10! A decade old na! 😭 This is her at the middle, preparing for her first ever swimming competition this Saturday! Joining 5 events (5 different swimming strokes)! So proud coz she swims with older teammates since she swims like a dolphin! Watch her do freestyle and butterfly with ease! I can't even do that! . She's improved so much that I stare closely at the video and ask myself, is it really Kendra? The "ill drink wine with papa" baby, that now will start competing na?! I'm so proud of her it makes me cry. . So if anyone sees a 6 foot 5, 235 pound dad, holding a banner, screaming like a girl and crying at the meet, that's me. 😂😂
