Eddie Garcia is set to make a posthumous appearance in Adolfo Alix’s Circa.
Veteran actor Eddie Garcia, who has appeared in over 600 films and television shows, apparently did one last film before his untimely death.
On Instagram, director Adolfo Alix Jr. revealed Eddie Garcia is set to make an appearance in his upcoming film Circa, which also stars veteran actress Anita Linda.
Sharing a photo on the set of the upcoming film, he wrote, “Rest in peace Tito Eddie Garcia. It was only last April when we worked together. Thank you for your wisdom. Your legacy lives on and will always be remembered. CIRCA will be dedicated in your loving memory.”
Likewise, Enchong Dee, who worked with the screen legend on the film, shared a photo, which he was apparently “saving up” in time for the film’s release later this year.
“I was saving this photo in time for the release of my next film. Nonetheless, I’m very fortunate to have had the chance to work with you even for a short one. Thoughts and prayers to the family of Tito Eddie. Thank you for your service to the country and to the entertainment industry,” he wrote in the caption.
As of writing, no release date has been announced yet for Circa.
Garcia, who died after suffering from a severe cervical fracture while doing a show for GMA-7, was last seen on the big screen in 2018 in the film Rainbow’s Sunset.
