Korean actor Park Bo-gum is thankful for the warm welcome Filipinos have extended him on his Manila visit.
Park Bo-gum impressed the media and some lucky fans during his press conference for the Manila leg of his Good Day Asian Tour when he spoke flawless English to answer their questions.
“I’m so nervous, I really want to come here. I’m really honored to be here,” he first said, much to the delight of the crowd.
The Korean actor, who rose to fame worldwide via the drama Love in the Moonlight, shared that he is very excited to meet his Pinoy fans and hopes they enjoy the fan meeting tomorrow, June 22, at the Mall of Asia Arena.
“I’ve been here twice before, first was when I was acting in the drama Wonderful Mama. The second time was the reward vacation after the drama Love in the Moonlight. The Philippines is where I did snorkeling the very first time I came, that remains in my memory,”
When asked about his latest film Seo Bok, Bo-gum shared some details about the film and how he feels working with actors Gong Yoo and Jong Woo Jin.
“It’s an interesting story, the movie title is Seo Bok, I play a human clone, who has the secret to eternal love. I’m just happy to work with amazing actors, Gong Yoo sunbaenim, Jong Woo Jin sunbaenim, the actors I admire. It's a really good movie so please watch it,” he revealed.
The Encounter lead actor also shared his thoughts on the roles he did in the past.
“All the characters remain in my memory because all of the characters in dramas are so precious to me.
“Every character I played has something in common with me. Also there a lot of things I wanted to learn emulate in those characters,” he said.
On his Filipino fans, the Hallyu wave star said that he is very happy for their love and support.

“I haven’t met my fans yet, but I am so grateful for their support and love.
