The spokesperson of Eddie Garcia’s family says they have allowed doctors to put him on DNR status.
The spokesperson of Eddie Garcia’s family confirmed that they have agreed to put the veteran actor on DNR or “do-not-resuscitate” status.
Dr. Tony Rebosa also clarified that his family did not order them to remove Eddie’s life support.
“Please be informed that the family of Mr. Eddie Garcia has not authorized nor has it consented to withdrawal of life support,” the statement read.
“They have however agreed to place him on DNR status,” Rebosa added.
Eddie got into an accident last Saturday, June 8, while taping for his show on GMA. This resulted in the actor receiving a severe neck injury.
