Actress Maria Isabel Lopez tied the knot with her Jewish fiancé at a wedding ceremony in California.

Former beauty queen Maria Isabel Lopez married her fiancé Jonathan Melrod at an intimate Jewish wedding ceremony held in Sebastopol, California. 

Michael Larrain, an actor known for his movies in the 60s and 70s, officiated the couple's wedding.


Actress Mara Lopez, the bride's daughter with her previous marriage, shared photos from the wedding on her personal Instagram account. 

"@beautyqueenmil, you are the most beautiful bride," she wrote in the caption of a photo of her mom wearing her wedding dress.

In another Instagram post, Mara described the wedding ceremony as one of the most beautiful she has ever witnessed. 

"The most beautiful ceremony ever. A Jewish-Filipino wedding and the highlights? The vows, of course. Mom and Jon had the most wonderful hilarious vows," she stated. 


Last May, the 60-year-old actress shared a photo from her prenup shoot on Instagram. 


She was the title holder of the Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1982 and represented the country in the 31st Miss Universe pageant in Lima, Peru that same year. 

Maria Isabel was previously married to Hiroshi Yokohama. The couple had two children -- Mara and her brother Ken Yokohoma.
