Celine Lim thanked ‘Ipaglaban Mo’ and ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’ for helping her out financially during her college years.
Former child star Celine Lim, who rose to fame after joining the reality talent search Star Circle Quest, just finished college at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) with a degree in Food Technology.
Despite her hectic schedule as a student, Celine Lim managed to juggle her studies and work. She even appeared in a few episodes of the legal drama series Ipaglaban Mo and long-running drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya throughout the course of her college life.
She credited the two shows for helping her out financially especially during times when she needed money for school.
“MMK and Ipaglaban Mo Family, thank you kasi kapag ubos na for lab materials ang baon ko, sumusulpot kayo. Thank you for being so understanding and for always respecting my schedule as a student,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, in an Instagram post, Celine thanked her boyfriend—a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA)—for always having her back.
“Had to graduate in advance because this guy won’t be able to come at my commencement. What’s up, my ketchup? Baba, thank you for everything. Thank you for being one of the few people who believed in me and supported me throughout my journey. There would always be bad days, and things won’t always be too easy for the both of us, but I believe that as long as we have each other, we can get through everything... Always together through life. I thank God because He blessed me with you. I’ve got a lot more to say but I might just cry if I continue talking. Good luck and God bless on your training... and I already miss you. See you soon, my love,” she wrote.
Celine Lim is best known for portraying the younger version of Kim Chiu’s character Audrey in Tayong Dalawa. She also appeared in other ABS-CBN teleseryes like Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo (2010), 100 Days To Heaven (2011), Aryana (2012), and We Will Survive (2016).
