Bagama’t nagmula sa pamilya ng mga pulitiko, inamin ng Quezon's Game lead actor na si Raymond Bagatsing na wala siyang balak na pumasok ng pulitika sa ngayon.
"I can't really say it's my ambition these days. Maraming nag-urge sa akin na [tumakbo] pero for me, I enjoy my work as an actor. I love the arts. I'd rather be an actor," pahayag ni Raymond sa interview ng PUSH sa show na Push Bets Live.
Ngunit, inamin din naman ng aktor na naisip niya na rin noon na pumasok sa pulitika pero dahil lang sa pangalan ng pamilya.
"Only because my family - the Bagatsing, they're pretty prominent especially during the Martial Law, Marcos time," ani Raymond.

Ang lolo ni Raymond na si Ramon Bagatsing ang longest-running mayor sa Manila noong panahon ng Martial Law, bilang nagsilbi ng halos 16 years. Ayon din sa aktor, may dalawang pinsan siya na kasalukuyan ay kongresista sa Manila at councilor sa Muntinlipa.
"Just because my family are into politics. Just because they're all lawyers and public servants. So para bang yun na yung upbringing sa akin e," paliwanag pa ni Raymond.
