“No to fandom wars.”
This was the statement of young actor Kyle Echarri as he shared his two cents on warring fandoms through his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, May 28.
According to the 15-year-old star, fans are very much welcome to express their support to their favorite artists and/or love teams in anyway, but not to the point of having to drag down others in the process.
“If you support an artist or a love team, you are welcome to support them however you want but not to the extent of bashing other artists and/or fandoms. You can praise whomever you feel is worthy of your support but it is wrong to put down other artists/fandoms in the process,” he wrote.
“RESPECT, and if you have nothing good to say, just keep it to yourself,” he added.
Currently, Kyle is being paired with Francine Diaz as young lovers Kristoff/Tope Tejada and Cassie Mondragon in the popular afternoon drama, Kadenang Ginto.
Completing the show’s Gold Squad is new love team Andrea Brillantes and former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Seth Fedelin as Marga Mondragon and Mikoy Araneta.
All four are set to launch a studio album, titled The Gold Squad, under Star Music’s Star Pop this coming June 8.
