“Keep it simple. Moisturize. Stay fresh.” These are the top three beauty tips that Sofia Andres dished out when she was launched as the new face of Luxe Organix.
While others are so caught up in an extensive beauty skin care routine, Sofia chooses to keep it simple. “First thing in the morning, I wash my face. I just put moisturizer on, and that’s it,” she said.
Being an actress, putting on heavy make-up can’t be avoided. “The thing is, if I put on so many products, my skin acts up,” she admitted. “So I just put the aloe vera soothing gel, which is really all in one. It reduces blemishes, fights wrinkles, balances our skin.”
Another tip she has is to be hydrated. “Nandito kasi tayo sa country na mainit, so I always make sure that I keep hydrated all the time,” said Sofia. “I’m a firm believer that whatever you put in your body, reflects on your skin. I drink water and fruit juices to help my skin look pretty. It really helps!”
To keep her skin looking fresh, she reveals, “I use rose water. I spritz it before and after I put on make-up, or whenever I feel my skin is dry. It’s a quick fix! It feels refreshing, plus it’s convenient because if its size, especially when I’m on the go.”
Her make-up kit only contains the bare essentials. “Lip tint, rose water mist, powder, curl lash, mascara. Pag nasa work, they put a lot of make-up. So when it’s an ordinary day, I keep it to a minimum. Kasi it’s important also to make your skin breathe.”
Sofia also shared a bit about her upcoming project. “This year, I’ll be having a movie with Ate Arci Muñoz. I’ll be playing her sister there. I don’t know lang kung kailan ire-release.”
Ria Atayde also dropped by to show support for her friend. Like Sofia, Ria isn’t a fan of complicated skin care routines. “I’m already 27 and I know I should, but it’s a lot of work for me. Pimple patches, that’s about it,” she said. “I’m so low maintenance as a person. Cheek tint, curl lash, mascara… that’s all I put.”
