Gloc-9 recalled how people would buy his CDs just because they felt pity on him.
Considered one of the most successful OPM artists of his generation, rapper Gloc-9 never fails to recognize his roots including the things he had to go through to get to where he is today via Instagram
Looking back at the days when he first released an album without a record label supporting him at that time, Gloc-9 wrote: "2000 noong panahon na akala ko hindi na ako makakapaglabas ng album after ng una noong 2003 kaya nag-record ako ng indie 5 track CD na tinawag kong #limangkantalang. Sa UP ako nagprint ng cover at ako na naggupit," he said.
Recalling the days when he had to sell his CDs himself to buy milk for his children, Gloc-9 shared how often people would ask him why he had to go around selling those CDs.
Apparently, there are only only 500 copies of Limang Kanta Lang out in the world. And for that, Gloc-9 told his fans, who were able to buy a copy of the album, to take care of something so precious to him.
