<p>Heart Evangelista took to Instagram to share one lesson she learned after her father Reynaldo Ongpauco underwent radiation therapyand that is no amount of material things would be as important as family.</p><p>“The older you get, the simpler your wishes become. You realize that material things aren't all that, and end up wishing for just this — a happy and healthy family,” she wrote.</p><p>Heart thanked the doctors who helped her father during the process of recuperating.</p><p>“For the past few months, my father has been going through radiation therapy. And just this week, he ‘graduated’ and had his last session. He's now in such a better place and I couldn't be more grateful.”</p><p>She also thanked those who prayed for her father.</p><p>“Thank you to all of you who have sent kind words and prayers for my family and I.
