FAMAS awardee and businesswoman Glenda Victorio admitted that she was star struck when she rubbed elbows with entertainment industry biggies like ABS-CBN executive and actress Charo Santos Concio and Anne Curtis.
Up to this day, the picture is still vivid in her mind when she was seated side by side with the local showbiz A-listers at the Meralco Theater where FAMAS 2019 was held.
Glenda was recognized by FAMAS as the Most Influential BrandPreneur Online after the Gawad Award Amerika in Hollywood, USA last 2018 when she was handed the 2018 Youngest Filipino CEO in the Field of Cosmetics and Skin Care.
Glenda, a former PBB wannabe shared the stage with the Grand Jury Prize winner for a Short Film who was bagged by Balai (Home) Klarisse Purugganan and the Lifetime Achievement Awardees, directors Marilou Diaz Abaya, Laurice Guillen, and Charo Santos-Concio.
Glenda is the owner of Brilliant Skin Essentials (BSE) na katulad ng ibang successful cosmetics company ay nagsimula rin sa humble beginnings.
After the recognition from FAMAS, another good news from the Gawad Amerika officers ang kanyang natanggap.
Nandu’n din sina Anne Curtis, and Eddie Garcia and a lot more.
“I’m the first non-showbiz personality in the field of skincare entrepreneurship to be given a Famas award. I realized na hindi naman pala kailangang maging artista or nasa film ka para magkaroon ka ng award,” she said.
