Robin Padilla’s hard work and dedication as a husband and father haven't gone unnoticed by his wife Mariel Rodriguez throughout the years that they've been together as a couple.
The 'It's Showtime' host had this to say as she penned a sweet message for her life partner, seasoned actor Robin Padilla on Instagram on Monday, May 20.
Sharing a no-filter photo of her with Robin, she wrote, "Photo was taken after our dinner in Malacañang...I never sleep with products on my hair... so I showered and was about to sleep. He doesn’t like that, me sleeping with wet hair so he dried it for me. He is sweet like that."
"Even when I go to work he asks me if I have a towel on my back (everyday 'yun ah) so my shirt doesn’t get wet and I don’t get sick. He is caring like that. On random days he sends me food while I am at work. He is thoughtful like that. When he saw that I would bring the whole barangay when Isabella and Iwould travel he bought her a new van. He is generous like that," she said.
"If I don’t say it enough, I want to say it out here how much we appreciate you and all that you do for us," she continued. "The truth is I am blessed because I know you will support us but you allow me to work because you know it’s part of me being me so you allow me to be me."
With most of her time spent on their daughter Isabella and consequently less with Robin, Mariel admitted that she misses them together as husband and wife.
"Most of the time I am so busy with Isabella that I barely have any time for us. I miss us too. [But], I want to congratulate you for the hard work you did during the last few months and you did it honorably. We are so proud of that... we are so proud of you! To my King, I love you," she added.
Currently, the couple is expecting an additional member to their growing family, which they announced to the public on Mother's Day last May 12.
Mariel and Robin welcomed Isabella, born Maria Isabella Padilla, in November 2016, six years since they tied the knot in a private ceremony in Taj Mahal in India.
