The Grand parents.I Miss my Mom Celia and Dad Ramon. Today after swimming and walking back home,  I imagined them both walking to me from afar with towels in their hands. I felt unbearably sad for a minute. Had to snap myself out of the spell. I stopped and talked to them aloud right then and there. I asked them to look after Pepe, who my family all think is a splitting image of my Dad, and Pilar who my family thinks looks a lot like my Mom. I guess each side has its own bias, haha!  They were proud and happy parents that I was doing well as a professional, and on TV at that, long before they both passed in 2004.  Their one fervent wish for me was to land a man who would love and take care of me. And for me to have a child. Wow, how I wish they were around to hold their grandchildren by me. But I know my kids have powerful guardian angels in Lolo and Lola now. One day, we all meet.🌈😇💚

"The grandparents. I miss my Mom Celia and Dad Ramon. Today after swimming and walking back home,  I imagined them both walking to me from afar with towels in their hands. I felt unbearably sad for a minute. Had to snap myself out of the spell," she said.

"I stopped and talked to them aloud right then and there," she continued. "I asked them to look after Pepe, who my family all think is a splitting image of my Dad, and Pilar, who my family thinks looks a lot like my Mom. I guess each side has its own bias. Haha!"

Pepe and Pilar are Korina's twin children with her husband, former Senator Mar Roxas.

The news anchor revealed that it had been her parent's wish for her to have her own family when they were still alive.

"They were proud and happy parents that I was doing well as a professional, and on TV at that, long before they both passed in 2004.  Their one fervent wish for me was to land a man who would love and take care of me. And for me to have a child. Wow, how I wish they were around to hold their grandchildren by me," she said.

"But I know my kids have powerful guardian angels in Lolo and Lola now. One day, we all meet," she added.

Reportedly, Korina's mother worked as an interior designer, while her father was the general manager of the-then Hong Kong landmark, Ambassador Hotel. They passed away few months from each other; Celia was 62, while Ramon was 85.
