The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate took part in the first mission of the Happy Hearts Project by Jaden and Friends here in the Philippines that aims to help kids with Down Syndrome who were born with congenital heart disease.

Photos of her visit were shared on Instagram this Friday, May 17.

Because the blood flow isn’t efficient, your child’s heart and lungs have to work harder. Vickie extended her appreciation to organizers and sponsors of the said mission, as well as to the team of doctors and nurses for helping save lives.

Currently vying for the Miss Universe Philippines crown as a recurring candidate of 2019 Binibining Pilipinas, Vickie’s main advocacy is to serve people with disabilities (PWDs), particularly with Down Syndrome, as inspired by her elder brother, Kian.

 

Vickie also joined the prestigious pageant last year where she finished as first runner-up.
