Kris Aquino took to social media on Saturday evening to share an update about the recent board meeting for her food venture, Nacho Bimby Pilipinas Corporation, in partnership with popular franchise brand Potato Corner.

The Queen of All Media, who serves as chairman and president of the said corporation, noted that two employees — the corporate secretary and one who assists in the filing of financial reports for Nacho Bimby, both of which she insinuated as close associates of her former business partner, Nicko Falcis — failed to show up in the meeting.

The corporate secretary who sent me the letter w/ the date, time, and venue chose not to be there. His reason — akala raw nya proxy lang ang padadala. Let’s cut the crap, ayaw lang akong harapin kasi isa sya sa investors nung resto bar in Taguig, kung saan may kasong hinaharap si Nicko, dahil nga sa daming beses ginamit ang KCAP credit card for personal enjoyment in the said resto bar, na actually breach of business ethics dahil financial consultant din sya dun,” she said.

The person who prepared the financial reports and should have done the presentation also wasn’t present. Nagkita na kami by accident many weeks back in dean & deluca Rockwell and even if she is nicko’s BFF, nilapitan ko sya and I said ‘We don’t have to be enemies so there’s no need to hide behind your cellphone.’ I said all that in a friendly tone with a big smile,” she continued.

“The only one who manned up and was there was Jose ‘JoMag’ Magsaysay. Goes to show who has CHARACTER. Atty Bong Bernas was also there & from all Dean Divina told me he is openminded when it comes to amicable settlements,” she added.

Despite the success of Nacho Bimby, Kris said that’s she’s willing to step down and “get out” of the corporation by selling her share if needed.

“To clarify what’s at stake, I am chairman & president of Nacho Bimby Pilipinas Corporation which currently owns and runs 10 branches of Potato Corner + Nacho Bimby. That’s not the issue because by all means I’m so willing to sell my share and get out completely,” she said.

JoMag said he was unaware that Nicko owned a 40% stake of the Thailand Potato Corners which I had invested in. That’s where the unaccounted for ₱45M from my sons’ trust accounts was supposedly invested in.

Kris earlier claimed that Nicko got her to invest in Nacho Bimby Pilipinas Corporation under his name. After her feud with him broke out last year, she wanted to transfer the P40 million-worth of investment to the names of her sons Josh and Bimby, but is constantly being ignored by the other camp, she said.

“I asked for an accounting of ₱40M invested for my sons, and financial reports for our 12 Potato Corner+Nacho Bimby branches and my lawyers & I were ignored,” she wrote on Instagram.

The legal battle between the former business associates dates back to November when Kris filed 44 counts of qualified theft in different courts in Manila against Nicko, based on claims of fraud using the company credit card of her production company, Kris C. Aquino Productions.

Three courts - namely, Makati, Pasig, and Taguig - have dismissed the case due to lack of sufficient evidence.

Meanwhile, Kris had withdrawn her complaint in Mandaluyong, leaving only San Juan, Manila, and Quezon City to sign a public resolution regarding the case.

All i’ve asked for was for the Thailand Potato Corner accounting books to be opened up for me. Just an assurance regarding where my sons’ money went. Maybe my biggest mistake was that i trusted so completely because 1 of the 2 main owners of the Potato Corner 🇹🇭 master franchise was a Chirathivat, in the 🇵🇭 equivalent sila ng mga Sy of SM Supermalls but without BDO. SANA MATAPOS NA ‘TO.
