Kapamilya host and TV personality Gretchen Ho, who was tasked to host the press conference of Floyd Mayweather Jr. at Resorts World Manila yesterday, April 2, took to social media to express her frustration after the boxer failed to appear following an eight-hour waiting game.

Gretchen documented her experience in a thread on Twitter, sharing Mayweather Jr.'s detours every top of the hour.

"Waiting for Mayweather be like. 6 hours & counting. Nagpa Belo, bumili ng LV, at rubber shoes muna raw," she tweeted upon reaching the sixth hour period of waiting.

Decided to give everyone at the venue a laugh, Gretchen took a photo with the press and captioned, "Magkakaramay sa pagantay! We [are] still alive! Heard Money made a detour again... I wonder what time he'll arrive. I hope it won't come in conflict with @ukgdos [sic]."

But just when she thought things couldn't get any worse, Gretchen shared that Mayweather decided to make a stop at a nearby mall to eat Inasal.

"So Floyd Mayweather decided to eat Inasal in MOA.#anonafriend #thewait," she wrote.

Then, the moment has come: Mayweather decided not to show up to them.

"After more than 8 hours of waiting, RWM announces that Mayweather is no longer coming to the presscon," she tweeted.

Earlier today, Ho once again took to Twitter to share how, at least in a way, she found something good over the 'tragedy' that she got to experience first-hand.

“A tragedy is always a good story to tell.” ~ Me on Mayweather’s no-show at the presscon after 8+ hours of waiting. Now, I can tell my grandkids, I was once stood up by Floyd," she wrote.

Mayweather Jr., known for being a pound-for-pound king once, is set to leave the country today, April 3.
