This is the second time Judy Ann Santos will be working with actor Raymart Santiago.
With news of her comeback series Starla coming out as early as last year, Judy Ann Santos said she does not mind shooting more episodes of the show in advance rather than working in hand to mouth fashion, which most primetime series end up doing.
The mother of three admits the delay in airing the show works in with her schedule at home. “Okay naman. Actually mas okay nga ako na mag-can muna kami ng mag-can ng episodes. Kasi ayoko naman yung wala kang choice kasi something is for airing na and you’d have to shoot until the wee hours of the morning. Hindi lang naman sa puyatan pero when you’re older na rin and minsan ka na lang gumawa ng mga ganyang projects, of course you want to give your premium,” she explained.
With Starla being her second onscreen pairing with her Aishtemasu co-star Raymart Santiago, Juday is happy to work with him again.
“Si Raymart naman, never naman siyang pretentious eh. He’s always professional. He’s always so vocal whenever he’s not feeling comfortable with something and you know it’s really different when you work with actors who started early on.
"Kasi iba yung work ethics nila. And they know how to build a rapport without overdoing it, yung hindi siya magmumukhang acting. And we talk. We talk about our children. We talk about our hobbies. Basically, akala ko nga dati tahimik siya. In fairness madaldal pala siya (laughs),” she said.
