“Kasi sa akin, ‘yung meaning ng friend [is] someone you can trust, you can talk to. ‘Yung nakakasama mo talaga. ‘Yun ‘yung kaibigan,” said the 28-year-old actress in her interview on late night talk show ‘Tonight With Boy Abunda’ on Monday.
Yam Concepcion made big revelations about her hit primetime series ‘Halik’ during a solo interview on late night talk show ‘Tonight With Boy Abunda’ on Monday, in time for its nearing finale.
Among the topics discussed with TV host Boy Abunda was the 28-year-old actress’ personal relationship with her co-star Yen Santos.
“We’re acquaintances siguro. Tito Boy, I don’t want to be plastic kasi. I want to be as real as possible. Sa ginagalawan nating industriya, parang palagi na lang na you’re always on the safe side and [that] you’re going to say what people want to hear. But, ‘wag na ‘yung ganon. Gawin na nating totoo,” she said.
“Kasi sa akin, ‘yung meaning ng friend [is] someone you can trust, you can talk to. ‘Yung nakakasama mo talaga. ‘Yun ‘yung kaibigan,” she added.
She may not have found it in Yen, but Yam said she did in her “sissy” Niña Dolino, who plays Marissa Toledo, the best friend of her character Jade Bartolome, in the show.
“Talagang alam niya ‘yung personal life ko, kinukwento ko sa kanya. And I trust her. It’s nice na nakahanap [ako] ng gano’n,” she said.
“[But] I really hope, sana talaga, na nagkaroon kami ng time ni Yen also, para nakapag-usap kami,” she added.
Yam was in ‘Tonight With Boy Abunda’ to promote the highly anticipated finale of ‘Halik’ this Friday night, April 26.
