Nearly two years since his enlistment, South Korean actor Lee Min Ho has accomplished his mandatory military duty and was officially discharged from service, according to entertainment website Koreaboo.

South Korean government states that all male citizens between the ages of 18 to 28 are required to sign up for a compulsory military service. The conscription isn’t extended to women, but may voluntarily enlist if they wish to do so.
Lee, who is known to his Filipino fans for his roles in hit television series ‘Boys Over Flowers’ and ‘Legend of the Blue Sea’, is said to be planning his highly anticipated comeback following his showbiz hiatus.
