Lea Salonga on Friday took to her Facebook page to wax nostalgic on her early Broadway days along with a throwback photo taken from her Miss Saigon stint.

The singer-actress, now 48, was captured in front of a West End theater in London during a run of the musical wherein she starred as the lead character Kim in 1989.

“Talk about a blast from the past! This is me at around 18 years old in front of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on what looks like a gorgeous summer day,” she wrote.

Miss Saigon is regarded as Lea's debut in the international theater scene, having earned her prestigious recognition for her role, including a 1990 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Musical and a Tony Award as the first Asian to ever do so.

Lea is also known for her role as Eponine in the Broadway production of Les Misérables in 1993 and Mei-Li in the Broadway version of Flower Drum Song in 2002.
