Former PBB housemate Tanner Mata returns to Manila with his first underwear fashion show.
After his stint inside the Pinoy Big Brother house two years ago, Tanner Mata is back in the country where he walked the runway after being launched as one of the endorsers of an international brand’s underwear line. “This is my first underwear anything, campaign, fashion show, anything. I thought it was going to be awkward but actually being under Men’s Club by Avon… [it] was actually nice to be under them because it’s motivational. It’s nice,” he shared during the Men’s cCub by Avon event held in Makati City.
The former housemate said he has been busy modeling abroad since leaving the famous yellow house in 2017. “So since PBB I’ve been doing a lot things. A lot of ups and downs but I’ve been working a lot more lately. But now with Avon I’ll be back in town more na. Hopefully you’ll see me a lot more with Avon promoting them. I just have to come back to the Philippines more. I’ve been traveling a lot lately which I’ve been enjoying. I think it’s time to come back,” Tanner said. After working in various countries, Tanner said he misses his fans the most. “I love going out and every time I go out the fans want to take pictures or say hi. I love when they come just to say hi. I just like the fact that I can go outside and make someone’s day,” he added.
Tanner also weighed in on the controversial scenes between current housemates Lou and Andre earlier this year. “Yeah I saw some of the clips. To me that was crazy because when we were in it, no one really got close to each other like that so it’s kind of funny to see that they’re doing it and they’re even younger than us when we were in it. It’s just crazy to me,” he said.
