Myrtle Sarrosa weighs in on the recent controversial moment between the two housemates.
When the episode of Pinoy Big Brother showing housemates Andre Brouillette and Lou Yanong kissing several times under the influence of alcohol during their pool party was aired earlier this week, netizens were divided on how to react to the incident. But for former PBB Teen Big Winner Myrtle Sarrosa, the presence of Kuya is important in these kinds of situations inside the house. So I think yung binibigay na advice is really correct para din for these adults kahit adults na sila. They should also watch out and think twice,” she shared during the presscon for her latest Regal Films movie Papa Pogi last March 7.
The Papa Pogi actress said being in a reality show also comes with its set of responsibilities as a housemate. “Kami din nung nasa bahay kami ni Kuya tapos may mga ganun, parang you are in the house to also learn about yourself. Pero hindi lang yun about yourself eh, it’s also to set an example. So buti na lang si kuya he gives the right advice para din ma-guide. Para sa akin din, parang if you don’t have a relationship with a person, why would you kiss them? Hindi mo puwede gawing dahilan yung alcohol or being out of yourself. Parang you should always still have a bit of control. Tapos anong sasabihin ng pamilya mo din,” she explained.
After hearing about the kissing incident, Myrtle admitted she was not anymore shocked. May ganun. Hindi ko sinasabing ako (laughs). Pero I mean, parang you get exposed to this kind of environment na pag sa mga parties and stuff may mga ganun. Para dapat pa rin talaga merong guidance from those older than you,” she said.
Myrtle said the whole point of PBB is showing your true self, but she on a personal level, she does not think it was a proper thing for the two housemates to do on national television.
